2. The Coward's Gambit

The main game will be played over six deadly rounds regardless but the coward's gambit allows you to opt out, stay alive and even steal 66% of the main pot! But there's a catch... Let's dive in. Before the start of every round, there will be an option for any alive holder to choose whether they would like to run away from the main game. If they do this they are choosing The Coward's Gambit. Benefits: - Anyone who chooses this option will never die or be turned into a statue. - At the end of the experience one coward will be randomly chosen to steal 2 ETH from the main pot and win it - Potentially a much higher chance of winning a larger buy-out prize Drawbacks: - Everyone who chooses the gambit will be branded a coward and forever have this listed in their properties on their NFT - If 200 or more cowards choose to run away from the game then the coward's will not successfully steal anything from the main pot and they will get nothing. Important to note is that the tally of cowards will only be updated once each round is over. This means that when you choose the gambit you have no idea how many other people have chosen it as well. This is where game theory comes into play and very interesting scenarios can present themselves. For example, imagine it is round 5 with only 1 round to go. - 155 holders have chosen the coward route and are eligible for a 2 ETH prize - 50 people remain in the main game and are eligible for a 1 ETH prize The right choice in this scenario could be to become a coward as you want to have a chance at winning the higher prize... ...however... If 30 other people all think this at the same time and become cowards, then the right choice could be to stay in the main pot as you will have a much higher chance at a 1 ETH prize... ...but... If 45 people choose the coward's gambit then you almost assuredly would stay in the main pot as they would be over the 200 thresholds and receive nothing and now you are one of the only ones left to win the entire 3ETH.
